Dermal fillers (Hyaluronic Acid) injections explained

They are an injectable treatment that will instantly help smooth lines, fine wrinkles and replenish lost volume, therefore creating a more youthful appearance. Made from a naturally occurring substance.  Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume and decreases wrinkles in one visit, with results typically lasting from 6 to 12 months. HA is found naturally throughout the body, with the highest concentration in the skin, joints and eyes. Once injected into the skin it bonds naturally with your own hyaluronic acid over the next few weeks.

The aim for us as practitioners and our clients is to create a fresh faced version of themselves. Our theory is less is more, creating a natural look which is more pleasing to the eye. The over filled face can look very fake and over done!

• Jowl/pre-jowl filler (in only small amounts) to this area can help restore volume to reduce these folds, improving the contour of your jawline.
• Nasolabial fold filler can dramatically improve the appearance of lines which stretch from the bottom of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Lessening these lines creates a more youthful, rejuvenated and refreshed appearance.
• Marionette line filler reduces and plumps the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles from the lower corners of the mouth to the sides of the chin. Using HA here can support the facial structure, helping to reduce sagging jowls, therefore, creating a more youthful appearance.
• Cheek filler will emphasize your existing cheek bones or can even create cheekbone structure for a more femanine and sculptured look. It will also add a luminous glow to the skin and reduce any fine lines and wrinkles in the area.
• Jawline filler will create a smooth and more defined jawline, it can even create a jawline (adding shadow) and will create a more chiselled look if desired.
